This is a great space to write long text about your company and your services. You can use this space to go into a little more detail about your company. Talk about your team and what services you provide. Tell your visitors the story of how you came up with the idea for your business and what makes you different from your competitors. Make your company stand out and show your visitors who you are.

My experience in photography really starts on the other side of the lens. In 2009, I started down a career path to become a model. I signed with my first huge modeling agency (Look Model Agency) in San Francisco, CA. I began auditioning and photographing with every talented photographer I could. Within a few months, I booked my first National Commercial with OLD NAVY and this ad was featured in MAXIM Magazine. My career had officially gained traction and I made the leap to move to L.A. to pursue further achievements. During the next 10 years I will walk in dozens of designer runways, book national and international commercials, Star in 2 films, Feature in many magazines, and continue with many successful jobs in the entertainment industry.

All of this experience, led me to develop a watchful eye with what was happening BEHIND the camera during this time. I consider myself a hyper observer. I would watch how shots were set up, what lenses were used, what lighting was set and why, script writing and changes, director's choices, costume/fashion choices, makeup/hair, edits, and much more. I would occasionally help my friends get photographs of themselves with their DSLR's, nice cameras, and would always get incredible feedback. "Wow Aaron, you frame shots in such an interesting way! Thank you for the great photo." I wouldn't ever think twice about me starting down this path, but I started to hear it so much I couldn't ignore the signs any longer.

I decided to buy my first professional camera in 2016. I purchased a mirrorless FujiFilm X-T20 with the kit 18-55mm lens. Over the next few years I would photograph friends, take portraits, landscapes, architecture, fashion, and anything interesting to me. I wanted to learn my camera so well that I could shoot in manual mode and really understand what was happening in the camera.

In 2019, I decided to take this love for photography to the next level. I made a difficult decision to go back to college after already receiving an AA Degree in Acting 9 years earlier. I started Photography 1 classes at SMC that Fall semester and dove straight into the basics. Looking back, this was the most important decision I could have made. It thrust me back into a wealth of education and turned me on to high levels of photography and technique. At SMC, I completed classes in Advanced Photoshop, Lightroom, Lighting, Lighting for Product, Lighting for People/Portrait, Film Noir, Alfred Hitchcock, and popular genres of film classes. I am currently taking Cinematography classes now but plan to further my education to USC or UCLA in the Film Department if I enjoy directing. More to come!

I currently photograph all sorts of genres. I work professionally from my FujiFilm X-T4 with 4 lenses. I have a 35mm prime, 90mm prime, 18-55mm, and 55-200mm. Please send me a message and let's get you a photograph that lasts a lifetime!
